Julian Haider
Digital Artist + Unity, Unreal Engine, Figma, and Photoshop
Hello!
I’m Julian, 20, currently studying Media Technology and Design at FH Hagenberg in Upper Austria. My focus is on developing interactive digital products – from games to modern apps with clear UX/UI.
My Games
A selection of games I built during and outside of my studies – from academic prototypes to personal experiments. It’s a colorful mix of ideas, mechanics, and tech stacks. Click any project to dive into the details.
Flameborn
A strategic hybrid board game with tactical resource management and app-powered mini-games.
Web & UX Projects
Design-driven projects that focus on usability, accessibility, and real user needs. From initial research and wireframing to fully functional apps – these case studies reflect a complete UX process.
XOut
A progressive web app for discovering and organizing real-life and online events based on shared interests. Built with a user-first UX approach.
Visual Programming
Projects that visualize code in motion. From low-level pixel manipulation to real-time 3D rendering – these experiments bridge programming logic with visual output and interactivity.
Pong
My entry into programming: a classic Pong game written in Java. Fully built from scratch with pixel-array graphics, custom game loop, collision detection, and basic input handling.

Interactive WebGL Scene
An animated 3D scene created in WebGL2 featuring a scene graph, camera transitions, lighting, Phong shading, texturing, transparency, and UV animation.
3D Modelling
A look into my 3D work created in Autodesk Maya – focused on modeling, lighting, texturing, and scene composition. These renderings explore both realism and stylized aesthetics.
3D Design
Creation of thematic 3D scenes in Autodesk Maya with a focus on modeling, composition, and texturing.
